Kalyna Astrinos is an Emmy award-winning journalist and joined KTNV in 2019 as the Morning Anchor for Good Morning Las Vegas. She currently anchors shows from 4:30 to 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. to noon.

She also highlights veterans in our community for our weekly Veteran's Voice segment that airs every Wednesday at 6 a.m and 6 p.m.

Astrinos is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, and earned her degree in Psychology and Social Behavior. Her career began in the No. 2 market in the country, Los Angeles, where she was the afternoon traffic reporter for ABC7 Eyewitness News and reported traffic for several iHeart radio stations including On-air with Ryan Seacrest and the Petros and Money show.

She comes to Las Vegas from San Diego where she worked as the fill-in anchor, breaking news live center anchor, traffic anchor & enterprise reporter. Kalyna has also earned two Emmy nominations for best on-camera talent anchor and best morning show. She won an Emmy for her coverage during the Black Lives Matter protests in Las Vegas.

During her career, she has covered everything from wildfires and severe weather to entertainment and lifestyle. She enjoys cooking, hiking, working out, traveling and trying new things. She has a diverse background as well. Her mother is Puerto Rican, and her dad is Argentinian and Greek.

She is excited to call Las Vegas home and tell stories that matter to the community.
