LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — April 9 is the Aviators first-ever home game at the new Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin.
The team takes to the field tonight for their home opener after a win last night in El Paso.

While there's plenty of excitement in the community for the game, businesses near the new stadium are excited at the possibility of more customers. Sports Town has been a local business in Downtown Summerlin for four years.

The manager of the store says the ball park is a huge addition to the area. The store is excited to get new business and exposure for their shop and they're looking forward to what the future holds.

Tonight's game starts at 7:05 p.m. with the Aviators taking on the Sacramento River Cats.
