The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

11:42 P.M.
Fatal crash on Interstate 15 near St. Rose Parkway.

7:16 P.M.
Police are investigating a fatal crash that involved a motorcycle and a UPS truck at the intersection of Warm Springs Road and Placid Street, east of Gilespie Street. Officers said the motorcyclist was deceased in the collision with road closures at the scene for the investigation.

6:40 P.M.
A 63-year-old man is dead after a collision between a pickup and a car near Charleston Boulevard and Tree Line Drive. Police say that a Ford F-150 hit a Kia Rio before hitting a traffic-light pole. The driver of the Ford was transported to hospital in critical condition. On April 2, police were notified that he had died.

4:03 P.M.
Police arrested 25-year-old Kelsey Turner in connection to a homicide investigation dating back to March 7 as 71-year-old Thomas Burchard's body was located near mile marker 14 on State Route 147. Turner was taken into custody in Stockton, Calif. READ MORE

6:40 A.M.
Crews responded to a car fire near Rainbow Boulevard and Rancho Drive. Chopper 13 was above the scene. The fire has been put out and there were no reports of injuries or road closures.

OVERNIGHT
Police say a woman shot and killed her boyfriend because she claims he was threatening to kill her. The incident started around 8:30 p.m. on March 27 inside an apartment complex near Lake Mead Boulevard and Los Feliz Street. READ MORE.
