Las Vegas Lights dropping $5,000 from helicopter at September game

The Las Vegas Lights are giving away $5,000 in cash at a game in September.

The team is using a helicopter to drop the money above Cashman Field. 200 fans will have a chance to go after the cash at the Sept. 8 game against the LA Galaxy II.

Fans must be 18 years or older to participate. 

How do you earn a cash drop spot?

  • An allotment of spots is being held exclusively for Lights season ticket holders. 
  • Any group purchasing 25 or more tickets for the Sept. 8 game will be given one entry. 
  • Opportunities will be made available at Cashman Field on Match Day to earn an entry at random into the Cash Drop.
  • Entries will be given away via various promotions and contests on Lights Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
