The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

11:10 P.M.
Heavy police presence on the Las Vegas Strip near Margaritaville and The Linq. This is a developing story. READ MORE

8 P.M.
North Las Vegas Police Department is on the scene of a fatal shooting on Alcantara Lane near Aviary Park neighborhood. READ MORE.

4:50 P.M.
UPDATE OCT. 7: The Clark County Coroner has identified the victim as 26-year-old Sebastian Aguayo. Aguayo died from blunt force injuries and his death has been ruled an accident.

Henderson Police (HPD) and Fire Departments are on the scene of a serious injury collision involving 2 vehicles at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Wigwam Parkway. 3 people were taken to the hospital, with 2 of them in serious or critical condition, the 3rd person has unknown injuries.

It is unknown at this time if impairment or speed were factors in the crash.

Road closures include the entire intersection with traffic being diverted for approximately the next 3-4 hours while the HPD Traffic Officers conduct the investigation.

3 P.M.
One person is dead after a shooting at a car wash in North Las Vegas, police say. READ MORE

12:39 P.M.
The RTC reports a six-mile traffic backup on Interstate 15 southbound towards California from Las Vegas. Expect long delays, RTC says.

10:28 A.M.
RTC reports a crash on the US-95 off-ramp southbound at Auto Show Drive. All lanes are blocked on the off-ramp. Use other routes.

4:30 A.M.
The Nevada Highway Patrol is looking for a driver involved in a deadly crash on northbound Interstate 15 near Mile Marker 79 in Clark County. READ MORE

OVERNIGHT
Police say an altercation over parking at a liquor store near Sahara Avenue and Valley View Boulevard led to a deadly punch early Sunday morning. READ MORE
