The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

8:15 P.M.
Las Vegas police responded to a family disturbance in the 6000 block of Tumblegrass Court, east of Stallion Mountain Golf Club. Viewers have informed 13 Action News of a heavy police presence in the neighborhood while the scene was active.

10:55 A.M.
A 75-year-old man is dead after a single vehicle crash on I-15 northbound near the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. NHP Troopers responded to the crash shortly before 8 a.m. Troopers say the vehicle was traveling northbound on I-15 when it left the inside travel lane and continued through the unpaved center median where it struck a dirt embankment. The driver was the only person in the vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

This is an ongoing investigation. The Clark County Coroner will identify and give the cause of death upon completion of their investigation. All travel lanes remain open.
