LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

6:10 P.M.
Las Vegas police were involved in a car chase after locating a stolen vehicle in the area of Serene Avenue and Bermuda Road. The suspects then led police on a chase, that included an attempted carjacking, that ended at St. Rose Parkway and Bermuda. No injuries were reported.

4:45 P.M.
Patrol officer Rachel Sorkow has been placed under arrest by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Sorkow was taken into custody after an internal investigation and charged with misconduct among other charges. READ MORE

2:50 P.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating a robbery and assault that occurred in an east Las Vegas neighborhood on March 3. A woman was injured, and her purse was stolen in the incident. READ MORE

7:22 A.M.
North Las Vegas police are at the scene of a deadly crash involving a pedestrian on Owens just west of Main Street. East Owens Avenue and North Davis Place are closed. Avoid the area if possible. READ MORE

5:55 A.M.
Crews are responding to a fire near Bonanza Road and Bruce Street. Chopper 13 is above the area and the home looks to be vacant. This is developing story, stay tuned for possible updates.

12:09 A.M.
Clark County Fire Department responded to a fire at a vacant house at 6261 Great Smoky Ave. Las Vegas Fire and Rescue and North Las Vegas Fire Department also responded. The fire was knocked down in 30 minutes. No injuries reported.
