An Excessive Heat Warning has been issued through Wednesday for the Las Vegas valley.
Highs will hover around 110 to 111 degrees in Las Vegas for the first half of the week as very dry air remains in place. Wake-up temperatures are in the low and mid 80s.

Smoke will also continue to linger in the valley at least until midweek, giving the sky a hazy appearance.

It will be a little more humid than usual on Thursday and Friday and the high temperatures will drop to 106 and 107 this weekend. Isolated storms are also possible this weekend but widespread rain is not expected.
