LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — UNLV senior quarterback Max Gilliam is issuing an apology for eating sushi off a model during an episode of the reality show "Below Deck."
He tweeted out a message, saying in part:
"I would like to apologize for my poor judgment while on the TV show Below Deck and acknowledge that I have made a mistake that I will learn from."
He also wrote that was not his idea, or any of his friends, to eat sushi off the model, but says he should have "exercised better judgment" and "declined the idea immediately."
