LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A UNLV football player is in the hospital after a team workout Tuesday morning.
UNLV senior running back Darran Williams suffered a medical episode during a warm-up portion of a team workout, according to UNLV Athletics.
Williams underwent treatment by doctors at a local hospital after the incident. His family is at the player's side.
The UNLV Athletics Department says thoughts and prayers of the entire UNLV community are with Williams and his family.
