LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — UNLV Lady Rebels shot 91% in the opening quarter and held off several Falcon rallies to remain undefeated on the road this season at 5-0 with a 68-57 victory over Air Force Sunday from Clune Arena.
UNLV has now won five of its last six games to improve to 10-7 overall, and 8-4 in Mountain West conference play which is good for fourth place, two games ahead of Boise State.
UNLV turned in its best shooting performance of the season, knocking down 26-of-52 from the floor for 50%.
The Lady Rebels also shined at the free-throw line, hitting 13-of-16 for 81.3%.
