LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Raiders are reportedly already seeing an increase in value ahead of their relocation to the Silver State.
The franchise's value has increased 20% in the past year, according to Forbes, and $1.5 billion since 2015 as talks began to heat up about potential new destinations for the team - including Las Vegas.
Currently, Forbes values the Raiders overall at $2.9 billion and No. 12 in the NFL, just ahead of the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Dallas Cowboys once again lead the league in value calculated at $5.5 billion followed by the New England Patriots at $4.1 billion.
The Raiders will open their final season in Oakland on Sept. 9 against the Denver Broncos.
