The NHL says they've received 23 confirmed positive test results for COVID-19.
Since June 8, the league says 12 additional players tested positive for the virus.
The NHL and the Players Association have agreed on protocols to resume the season. This brings us one step closer to Stanley Cup Playoff Action.
The league and players are still negotiating an extension to the collective bargaining agreement.
If and when that passes, games would likely start late this month or early next month. 24 teams, including the Vegas Golden Knights, would take part in the expanded playoffs, leading up to the Stanley Cup Final in October.
