The Nevada Highway Patrol is "Knighting Up" as the Vegas Golden Knights continue their run in the NHL Playoffs.

Troopers have replaced the Battle Born logo with the Golden Knights helmet and the phrase "Vegas Born, Knight Up." This is the first time they've displayed a sports team logo on a marked patrol vehicle.

"The Vegas Golden Knights have taken the Las Vegas Valley by storm since beginning their inaugural and historic first season," wrote NHP in a statement to the press. "Most importantly in the aftermath of October 1, the Vegas Golden Knights embraced the city they call home and undoubtedly helped in the healing process as the Valley tried to cope with the events that unfolded."

NHP says that the owners of Patrick's Signs created the decals and installed them on the vehicles for free. The logo will remain on the vehicles until the end of the NHL Playoffs.
