In the game of golf, putting is the great equalizer. Some of the most intense moments on the course happen just a few feet away from the hole.

The Major Series of Putting was created in 2015 to highlight those moments and turn them into a spectacle all on their own, according to MSOP President Guillaume Beland.

"With a putter in their hand - that's when we see most players celebrating," said Guillaume.

Over 500 qualifying events for the MSOP were held throughout North America this year. On October 27 through November 5, the winners of those qualifiers will gather in Las Vegas to compete in a specialized putting stadium just behind Planet Hollywood hotel-casino.

The temporary stadium, located near Harmon Avenue and Audrie Street, features an 18-hole putting course, a restaurant and bar, a VIP section, a players lounge, and a place to play golf-inspired skill games.

Pro golfer Brad Faxon will host the All Pro Championship on Oct. 30-31. The tournament is expected to bring in professional players like Colt Knost, Graham DeLaet, Alex Kang, Kurt Kitayama, Sam Ryder, John Cook, and Tommy Armour III.

The MSOP stadium will also host a variety of other tournaments from Oct. 27-Nov. 5. Prizes range from $750 to $110,000 based on the format of the competition.

The public will also be invited to play on the stadium course from Oct. 27- Nov 5 without having to participate in an event. Exact pricing will be announced at a later date.
