LAS VEGAS (KTNV) - Professional soccer came to Las Vegas this year with Las Vegas Lights FC, a part of the USL. The team quickly developed a strong fan base in the first games of the season. That base is growing through affordable ticket pricing.
Tickets start as low as $10 per game if you purchase as part of a season ticket package. Individual games start as low as $15, allowing families throughout Las Vegas to afford a night under the lights at Cashman Field.
"For the four of us, I think it was $72," says Dulce Gallardo, her husband and two sons were at Saturday night's game. "That's very affordable; I think it's fair."
This was at the core of Lights FC owner Brett Lashbrook's strategy to attract and keep a strong fan base in Las Vegas.
"I wanted to make sure no matter who you are, no matter what your background is, no matter where you live, no matter how big or small your family is, you can afford to come to Cashman Field on a Saturday night, have a great time. You can bring your entire family, you can bring all your friends, and it is affordable."
