LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Las Vegas Aces will be back on the court this Sunday.
All the teams are in Florida right now, living in quarantine as a COVID-19 precaution.
This year they will only play 22 games with no fans. Last season the team made it all the way to the Final Four.
But this season is going to be different, two key players in the starting lineup are sitting out.
Liz Cambage has been medically excused from the season because of COVID-19. Kelsey Plum is out because of an injury.
13 Action News spoke to Kayla McBride about how the team plans to overcome these challenges.
The Las Vegas Aces will take on the Chicago Sky Sunday at noon on Sunday.
