13 Things To Do This Week In Las Vegas For May 11-17

List of 13 things to do in the Las Vegas valley for the week of May 11 through 17:

1. The 12th annual Vegas Uncork'd by Bon Appetit is happening this weekend. There will be multiple events at multiple venues featuring the city's top chefs. Dinners, parties, cocktails, sushi, a women's power lunch and more.

2. The annual ice cream festival at Springs Preserve is happening May 12. There will be all-you-can-eat ice cream, live entertainment, face painting, storytelling, a pirate magic show, carnival games and more.

3. The annual Mother's Day Art Festival is back in Henderson this weekend. Unique art, sidewalk chalk creations, live entertainment and fun and games for children. Free admission. Happening May 12 and 13.

4. Head to Hellkat Racers on Cameron Street on May 12 for rockin blues by the Pyro Surfers, BBQ, vendors, a pin-up contest and car shows. Free admission. 

5. The American Patriot Fest is taking place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 12 at Craig Ranch Regional Park. Live entertainment, JROTC exhibition, 360 car show, kids zone, a burger festival and more.

6. Jazz in the Park is back May 12 at Clark County Government Center Amphitheatre. Ghost-Note will be performing. Admission is free.

7. Country in the Park on May 12 will feature performances by Jerrod Miemann, Trent Harmon, ben Rue and Thrillbilly Deluxe. The event is taking place at Exploration Park in the Mountain's Edge neighborhood. Presented by 95.5 The Bull.

8. The annual wine festival at Green Valley Ranch is going down May 12. There will be imported Italian wines, delectable food from award-winning chefs and more. Live entertainment by the Laura Shaffer Trio. 

9. The Unwielding is having a CD release party on May 12 at Huntridge Tavern. They will be joined by Melanie and The Midnight Marauders. No cover charge.

10. The Lion Habitat Ranch is giving all mothers half off admission on Mother's Day. The habitat is home to the former MGM Grand lions, birds, tortoises and a giraffe named Ozzie. It is located near M Resort.

11. Human Nature is inviting mothers to see their show at The Venetian. Locals with ID will receive 2-for-1 tickets. The group from Australia features Toby Allen, Phil Burton and brothers Andrew and Mike Tierney. Their show "Jukebox" features some of the most-loved hit songs from the best vocal artists and groups of all time.

12. Tippy Elvis, the notorious band from Las Vegas, is performing May 12 at 900 E. Karen Ave. Their performance is part of the 12 Inches of Sin art festival benefiting the Sin Sity Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. The art festival features local and out-of-state artists exhibiting their sex-tinged creations. There will also be a burlesque show, drag shows and workshops.

13. Pool Flix & Chill, a sunset movie series at Red Rock Resort's Crimson Pool, kicks off May 14 with teh movie "Wedding Crashers." There will be pool games, treats and samples, and private cabanas available for rental. $5 if reservations made in advance, $10 at the door.
