HENDERSON, Nv. — Henderson Mayor Michelle Romero has fended off a challenge from former police chief Hollie Chadwick.
The Associated Press called the race with Romero taking 60 percent of the vote to Chadwick's 40 percent, with 80 percent of votes counted.
Chadwick had launched her campaign months after her controversial termination from the Henderson Police Department.
