It's no secret that you can't really run out of things to do here in the valley, but there's a few items you definitely might want to check off your list for this summer.

Let's start with changes to local's casinos:

From dust…to gold! That's how the Palms Resort and Casino is describing their new up-do.

The inside of the casino was completely remodeled with new lighting ceiling fixtures and over forty new table top games and more than a thousand video poker and lot machines.

And Palace Station is undergoing a $192 million face lift. New additions include a Regal Cinemas Nine-screen Movieplex, a new casino exterior, a resort style pool and updated gaming floor. The best part- more free parking.

Another new addition to add to your weekend to do list is the Rex center at the Boulevard Mall - which has indoor electric go karts, laser tag, and even a climbing wall.

Vegas is officially bigger by two otters. It's all a new display at SeaQuest, also at the Boulevard Mall.

Visitors can interact with the two new additions and even partake in trying to name the duo.
