UPDATE 8:23 A.M.: The hearing for Marcell and Patricia Chappuis is now set for April 9.
LAS VEGAS (KTNV) - The owners of Northwest Academy, Marcell and Patricia Chappuis, are expected to appear in court on March 4 for arraignment.
Each face more than 40 counts of child endangerment.
The pair was arrested last month after Nye County investigators say the couple had not improved water conditions at the boarding school.
Last year, investigators discovered that the tap water at Northwest Academy contained arsenic.
Investigators also say some teachers were physically abusing the students.
The couple's attorney says they are being wrongly held and that the abuse claims came from a former employee who was fired.
