The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

5:45 P.M.
Las Vegas police say they are working a barricade situation in the 5400 block of Milkwood Lane, near Ann and Cimarron roads, where a possible armed suicidal person is not leaving a home with SWAT officers at the scene.

1:15 P.M.
Four-car crash closes travel lanes at the intersection of Fort Apache Road and Lake North Drive. Two people were taken to the hospital with one in critical condition and another in custody for suspected impairment. Delays were reported at the scene. READ MORE

10:26 A.M.
UPDATE SEPT. 29: The Clark County Coroner has identified the shuttle bus driver who was killed as 52-year-old Mayetta Scott from Las Vegas. Her death was due to blunt force injuries to her chest and head. Scott's death was also ruled an accident.

Las Vegas police are investigating a deadly crash involving a shuttle bus and a pedestrian on Jones Boulevard between Twain Avenue and Flamingo Road shortly before 9 a.m. Police say the pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene. The community is asked to avoid the area as the investigation is still ongoing.

OVERNIGHT
Las Vegas police are investigating a homicide overnight near Twain Avenue and Boulder Highway after receiving reports of the incident around 9:30 p.m. Monday. READ MORE
