The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

7:10 P.M.
The Clark County Fire Department says it was assisting with a power outage at the Paris Las Vegas. Officials said the cause of the outage was not immediately known, but the casino was being evacuated as a precaution with police assistance. READ MORE

6:20 A.M.
The Clark County Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at the Apple Store at Town Square. When crews arrived they found "light smoke" inside through the windows. AS investigators searched for a source, the department says smoke became visible to crews outside from the roof of the building. Crews found a fire on the third floor and were able to put it out. The knockdown of the fire was called at 7:10 a.m. The cause is still under investigation, but authorities believe the cause to be an electrical malfunction. Damages have not been estimated. There were no injuries. In all, CCFD responded with six engines, one truck, two rescues and two battalion chiefs with 34 personnel.
