North Las Vegas Police is investigating a crash that involved a 16-year-old student from Cheyenne High School. Police say that the student was walking in a crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle near Simmons Street and Gilmore Avenue around 2:15 p.m. READ MORE

6:30 A.M.
A crash on I-15 near Washington appears to involve a school bus. The crash is causing a backup driving SB on I-15 all the way to Lake Mead Boulevard. Stay tuned for possible updates.
OVERNIGHT
One person able to make it out alive after their home caught fire. Firefighters say the home near Pebble and South Las Vegas Boulevard is a complete loss and the roof is gone. The flames started around 10:45 p.m. during a lightning storm, however firefighters did not say if weather was the cause.
