The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
8:10 P.M.
Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded to a small fire in a utility chute at a house in the 4400 block of Mark Avenue. One person was treated on scene for a fall and another person was taken to the hospital for minor smoke inhalation. Red Cross is being called to help out. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
