The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.
7:20 A.M.
Clark County Fire Department and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded to a reported fire in a building on Betty Lane, near Nellis Boulevard and Owens Avenue, around 7:20 a.m. The CCFD responded a “high” level structure sending 4 engines, 1 truck, 1 rescue and two battalion chiefs. One person and one dog were found by crews during the response. Both did not survive. Authorities say the fire was knocked down around 7:35 a.m. Clark County Fire Investigations are currently conducting an investigation into the cause of the fire. READ MORE
