The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

2:43 P.M.
Las Vegas police are on the scene of a shooting involving the department. Police say they received a domestic disturbance call in the 500 block of North 9th Street. Shortly after officers arrived, shots were fired. One person has been transported to hospital. READ MORE

11:20 A.M.
The officer involved in the March 16 police involved shooting near Fountain Heights Lane and Robindale Road has been identified as Officer Darko Milanovic. READ MORE

8: 30 A.M.
Police are investigating an issue at Arbor View High School near Grand Teton and Buffalo drives. The principal sent out a voicemail to parents saying that they are aware of a social media account that included racial comments and possible threats. According to parents, the online threats targeted students at the school. 13 Action News has a crew on the scene and is working with the school district to provide more information. READ MORE

8:11 A.M.
Las Vegas police responded to a report of a carjacking near Boulder Highway and Desert Inn Road just after 5:51 a.m., where the victim's car was taken at gunpoint.

Officers were able to locate the stolen vehicle and began pursuing the car as it traveled north on Boulder Highway. Police say the vehicle struck the median just south of Lamb Boulevard and became disabled.

The subjects fled into a nearby neighborhood and were later arrested. Police have not said how many people were arrested related to this incident.

7:49 A.M.
Police say that a female may have been intentionally hit by a car at an apartment complex in the 3200 block of Pecos Road near Cheyenne Avenue. The female appears to have been arguing with someone before being hit. She was transported to Sunrise Hospital. Her condition is unknown but police say it appears she was communicating before being transported. The car and its occupants left the area.

5:40 A.M.
Crews responded to a "high" level fire in the east part of the valley just before 4 a.m. Authorities say the fire happened at an abandoned two-story building at 2596 Stratford Avenue. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
