The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

6:57 P.M.
The Clark County Fire Department (CCFD) is on the scene of a fire at 4866 Fuentes Way. CCFD responded with an F3H “high” level structural fire response sending four engines, one truck, one rescue, and two battalion chiefs. Upon arrival, personnel reported smoke and flames coming from a residential double-wide mobile home. Firefighters are engaging in an offensive attack, but heavy fire conditions remain at 6:57 pm. The fire is an ongoing emergency incident.

3:33 P.M.
The Federal Aviation Administration says there are some wind-related delays at McCarran Airport. There were about nine arrival diversions today and about 10 departure delays so far of about 15 minutes, the FAA says. High winds expected for the next two hours or so. 3:17 P.M.
There is a fire near the roads heading towards Mount Charleston. Dear Creek Highway near Kyle Canyon road is CLOSED in both directions on the mountain as a result. Use alternate routes.

1:15 P.M.
RTC reports a traffic-signal power outage on Tropicana Avenue eastbound near Koval Lane. Treat as an all-way stop. Expect delays.

1 P.M.
RTC reports a crash on US-95 northbound at 51MM (before I-11). All lanes are blocked. The agency says there is a heavy dust storm in the area. Drive carefully and expect delays.

12:33 P.M.
The Regional Transportation Commission reports all lanes are back open after a wildfire on Kyle Canyon and Deer Creek roads caused a temporary shutdown of both north and southbound lanes in the area.

11:10 A.M.
The intersection at W. Charleston Boulevard and Desert Foothills Drive remains closed, and will be closed for several hours, following a fiery crash around 10:30 a.m. between a motorcycle and a mid-size SUV, according to police. The motorcycle rider has been transported to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries, police say. No other injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation.

10:07 A.M.
The Regional Transportation Commission is reminding people to use caution and stay in the correct lane while driving on the US-95 southbound due to a High Winds and Dust Storm Warning.

Las Vegas firefighters say five people have been displaced after a fire damaged two homes in the downtown area shortly before 1 a.m. READ MORE
