8:40 P.M.

Police say a teenager died as a result of an ATV rollover near South Hollywood Boulevard and Kodachrome Road. FULL STORY

8:30 P.M.

Margaret Edith Seager, 57, was arrested for two counts of third degree arson. She was arrested this morning after Las Vegas Fire Investigators spotted her at a dumpster fire while investigators were on scene of the vacant building fire at 15 East Oakey Boulevard. 

Fire investigators have been looking for the woman in connection with another dumpster fire that occurred days earlier. She is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center.

5:57 A.M.

Las Vegas and Clark County firefighters got reports of a mattress fire that spread to a vacant building at 17 East Oakey Boulevard, near Las Vegas Boulevard.

Crews were able to put the flames out in just a few minutes, though the fire moved into a wall over the front entrance on the outside of the building, which was difficult to extinguish. The fire did not spread to the inside of the building.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage has not been estimated, and no injuries were reported.

5:23 A.M.

Volunteer and career firefighters responded to a trailer fire at 270 East Earl Avenue in Sandy Valley. The fire spread to a nearby car and RV. Clark County firefighters say the property is a complete loss, and damage is estimated at $20,000. No injuries were reported.
