The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

UPDATE 5:53 P.M.
Officers were approached by a man with multiple gunshot wounds at a complex near Charleston and Rainbow boulevards, according to Las Vegas police. The man was walking in the complex when an unknown suspect shot him. The man was transported to UMC in serious condition. Police say the scene is contained to the complex and detectives are investigating.

5:53 P.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting near Charleston and Rainbow boulevards. Officers responded to a 911 call related to the indecent shortly after 5:15 p.m. Police say one person was shot. It is unknown at this time what condition the person is in.

2:45 P.M.
Las Vegas police say a person has been stabbed in the 6200 block of West Flamingo Road near West Flamingo Park. Police are looking for a suspect in the area. The victim was transported to hospital in critical condition. READ MORE

Nevada Highway Patrol have responded to a fatal crash involving a semi-truck on Las Vegas Boulevard and Checkered Flag, near Las Motor Speedway. Las Vegas Boulevard is now closed in both directions, use alternate routes. READ MORE
