This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for January 14, 2018.

10 P.M.

Clark County Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at 764 East Twain Avenue at 7:37 p.m. They found an apartment on fire and all apartments in the building were evacuated. The fire was quickly put out and firefighters found a dog that perished during the fire. No other injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at $40,000 and the American Red Cross is assisting two people. 

6:27 P.M.

One man suffered burns after a motor home caught fire around 5:30 p.m. near corporate Circle and Green valley Parkway. The man is currently recovering in the hospital.

1:10 A.M.

A 2-alarm fire damaged a building in Downtown Las Vegas early Sunday. The call was received at 1:10 a.m. It took firefighters approximately 45 minutes to get the fire at 513 S. Sixth St. under control. Firefighters from North Las Vegas and Clark County assisted Las Vegas Fire & Rescue.
