The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

8:23 A.M.
A 2-year-old is dead and a woman was transported to the hospital after Las Vegas police say there was a possible murder-suicide attempt just before 7:55 a.m. on Feb. 25 near Pebble Drive and Pollock Road. READ MORE

5:30 A.M.
A suspected drunk driver is accused of crashing into a Las Vegas police vehicle. The crash happened at the intersection of Hollywood and Charleston boulevards. Officers say they parked in front and back of the car when they found the driver asleep behind the wheel. When the driver woke up, he accelerated and hit the patrol unit in front of him. He was arrested and nobody was hurt.

5:15 A.M.

Crews are investigating the cause of two separate fires at the same condominium near Charleston Boulevard and Christy Lane in the span of a few hours. The first fire happened around 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 24, then crews responded to another fire at the same location at around 11 p.m. the same night. Authorities say nobody was hurt.
