The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

10:21 P.M.
One man is recovering in the hospital and police are searching for a suspect after a shooting near Tropicana Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard, police say. READ MORE

9 P.M.
Sahara Avenue eastbound is closed at Lake Sahara Drive (near Durango Drive) after a woman was hit by a car, police say. She was transported to UMC. Authorities say her injuries do not appear to be life threatening. The woman was crossing a private drive. Police say, while there is no marked crosswalk, she still had the right of way.

1:45 P.M.
The large fire in North Las Vegas has been contained. Fire crews will stay on scene for a little bit longer. At this time, it is not known what started the fire. However, it is being labeled suspicious. One firefighter is being treated for an "illness." The fire happened at Rosen Materials, which offers building materials. READ MORE.

12:30 P.M.
Firefighters are on the scene of a large fire near Losee Road and East Lake Mead Boulevard. The address of the fire is 1818 Losee Road. Las Vegas Fire & Rescue says a large building is on fire.

7:10 A.M.
Crash on western beltway near Charleston blocking lanes, causing delays. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.

6:10 A.M.
Las Vegas firefighters respond to fire at Marketon at 755 N. Nellis Boulevard. Fire in restroom put out by sprinklers. No injuries reported.
