UPDATE: Multiple agencies seek suspect after North Las Vegas fire

UPDATE 8 P.M.: Firefights say they are working with police to find a suspect after fire in North Las Vegas on Friday that authorities believe was started by arson.

No suspect description was immediately given by authorities.

Damage to the business is estimated to be $1 million.

Neighboring structures were not damaged, and there are no injuries to report.

NORTH LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- The 2-alarm fire in North Las Vegas is being investigated as a suspicious fire, according to officials.

The fire at Rosen Materials on Losee Road near East Lake Mead Boulevard was reported between noon and 1 p.m. Roads in the area were closed while fire crews were on scene.

Black smoke could be seen around the valley and firefighters from North Las Vegas and Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded.

Fire officials say that they believe the fire was intentionally started and they have a description of the possible arsonist.

One firefighter was treated for "illness" at the scene.
