The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

9:58 P.M.
Homicide detectives are investigating after two people were found dead in a home near Grand Teton Drive and Shaumber Road. Police say officers responded to reports of gunshots inside a home on the 7800 block of Airola Peak Street shortly before 9 p.m. The two people inside were pronounced dead on the scene. READ MORE

7.39 P.M.
John Wayne Airport near Los Angeles, California is reporting a power outage resulting in a full ground stop. The airport says any inbound flights will be diverted.

Flights at McCarran Airport do not seem to be impacted at this time, but you can check departure/arrival information here.

5:02 P.M.
Firefighters responded to a fire at Renaissance Villas Apartments at 5445 Reno Avenue, near Lindell Road and Reno Ave, around 2:45 p.m. Crew were able to knock it out about 20 minutes later, according to Clark County Fire Department. Las Vegas Fire and Rescue assisted with the incident.

5:55 A.M.
Clark County Fire Department responded to a fire at 467 E. Silverado Ranch Boulevard, Suite 155. Upon arrival, firefighters reported a commercial building with nothing showing from the exterior of the structure. Crews made entry into the structure and found a light haze of smoke and a small flame near the ceiling. Firefighters made an offensive attack and knocked the fire down at a reported time of 606AM. No injuries have been reported. Damage has been estimated at $10,000. The fire is under investigation.

2:45 A.M.
There’s been a fatal crash involving a motorcyclist near Maryland Parkway and Franklin. The northbound lanes of Maryland are closed. It wil take several hours to clear the scene.
