LAS VEGAS (KNTV) — The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

3:39 P.M.
Las Vegas police responded to reports of a robbery and shooting in the area of West Spring Mountain Road and South Jones Boulevard this afternoon. FULL STORY.

2:56 P.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating a fatal crash between a motorcycle and a minivan near North Hollywood Boulevard and Stewart Avenue. The motorcycle was heading southbound on North Hollywood Boulevard when a car pulled out from a driveway and caused him to strike the vehicle. The rider was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced deceased due to his injuries. North Hollywood Boulevard is shut down at Turtle Hill Road as police investigate.

2:38 P.M.
Las Vegas police responded to a call of an unresponsive toddler who fell into a pool in the 1900 block of Smith Street which is near West Lake Mead Boulevard and Michael Way. Medical treatment was started on scene and the toddler was transported to the hospital where the toddler died. READ MORE.

12:07 P.M.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Watch Commander reports that a rollerblading pedestrian was struck by a semi truck near the intersection of South Las Vegas Boulevard and Russell Road. The person was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The incident is under investigation.
