The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

9:30 P.M.

Update (4/30/20): The motorcycle rider succumbed to his injuries on April 28th. The Clark County Coroner has identified him 30-year-old Bryce Bennet from Las Vegas. The cause of death was blunt force injuries, accident.

Police are responding to a critical motorcycle crash near the intersection of Flamingo Road and Torrey Pines Drive. A motorcyclist was transported to a hospital in critical condition with officers closing Flamingo Road, east of Torrey Pines Drive.

7:30 P.M.

Update (5/5/20): The Clark County Coroner has identified the victim as 40-year-old Anthony Sharif Duren and the casue of death was a stab wound to the neck, a homicide.

North Las Vegas police say one person is dead after a shooting near East Tonopah Avenue and Princeton Street. READ STORY.

4:45 P.M.

Update (4/30/20): The Clark County Coroner has identified the man as 83-year-old Herschel L. Williams. The cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries, accident.

Las Vegas police say an 83-year-old man has died in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Dean Martin Drive, near Wigwam Avenue. The driver lost control and was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to the hospital but did not survive. No

All travel lanes are now open following a deadly crash near Las Vegas and Hollywood boulevards, according to Nevada Highway Patrol. Late Monday night the agency reported a person was hit and killed by a vehicle in the area. READ MORE

Earlier Monday night, in a separate crash, a person was hit and killed crossing Tropicana Avenue at Morris Street. That vehicle failed to stop at the scene. Police believe the vehicle involved is a red or orange SUV, possibly a Chevy Tahoe. Anyone with information is asked to call authorities. READ MORE
