The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

6:15 P.M.
The Clark County Fire Department responded to a reported fire at 6185 South Valley View Boulevard. Firefighters found two propane tanks with flames but were able to have the fire out in about 15 minutes. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

3:05 P.M.
Police were working a barricade situation stemming from serving a search warrant in the 2600 block of South Nellis Boulevard. No immediate injuries were reported in the incident.

12:38 P.M.
Police are responding to a shooting near S. Eastern Avenue and Desert Inn Road. Officers say there are multiple victims. Injuries are unknown at this time. This is breaking news, stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available. 13 Action news has a crew on the way. FULL STORY

10:45 A.M.
Almost 1,400 NV Energy customers are currently without power. The majority of customers are located in the 89119 zip code near McCarran International Airport. The power outages are also affected traffic lights near UNLV including Maryland Parkway and Harmon Avenue, Maryland and University Avenue and Maryland and Tropicana Avenue. 10:30 A.M.
Nevada Department of Corrections say that inmate 55-year-old Marty Martinez died on April 21 at High Desert State Prison. Martinez was serving 48 to 180 months for attempted sexual assault. he arrived at NDOC on April 15, 2016. An autopsy is scheduled.
