Las Vegas breaking news for April 21, 2018

This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for April 21, 2018.

6:50 P.M.

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office says that two people are dead and one person is in extremely critical condition after a high-speed boat crash at Lake Havasu. READ MORE.

2:55 P.M.

One person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and a total of six people were displaced after an apartment caught fire at 3925 North Nellis Boulevard, near Las Vegas Boulevard. The fire started around 2 p.m. The cause is under investigation, and damage has not yet been estimated.

9:35 A.M.

A hot air balloon had to make an emergency landing near Durango Drive and Windmill Lane. According to Las Vegas police, a passenger in the hot air balloon suffered a medical emergency around 7:43 a.m. The victim was transported to a local hospital when they landed. READ MORE.
