The following is a roundup of breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley.

9:57 P.M.
Las Vegas police are investigating a fatal collision between a vehicle and a bicyclist on Pecos Road near Tropicana Avenue. The person on the bicycle died at the scene while the driver of the vehicle was working with officers. Authorities had road closures at the scene for their investigation.

6:50 P.M.
Henderson firefighters are working two active fire scenes. Crews have been called to an apartment complex at 3000 High View Drive, near Green Valley Parkway, and to a restaurant located at 1290 W. Warm Springs Road, east of Stephanie Street. No immediate word on the cause of the fires or injuries but both scenes remain active, according to emergency alert applications. FULL STORY

9:30 A.M.
I-15 northbound near Charleston is down to one lane causing a major backup. Expect delays. RTC Southern Nevada reported a crash on the I-15 near Charleston at 8 a.m.
