This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for September 5, 2017.

5:20 P.M.

Las Vegas police said the child hit in the crash at Fort Apache and Mariner Cove is in fact a 18-year-old man who was hit halfway through the intersection. He walked out of the crosswalk. He is still alive and in the hospital. The driver is a woman. Police are still trying to figure out who was at fault because there's conflicting information as to whether or not the light was red at the time.

3:55 P.M.

CORRECTION: Las Vegas police have reported that the crash at Fort Apache and Mariner Cove has not yet been confirmed fatal.

The latest information from police indicates a child was hit by a vehicle at the intersection around 3:07 p.m. Police said the driver is on scene and cooperating. 

3:35 P.M.

Las Vegas police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred around 3:07 p.m. at Fort Apache Road and Mariner Cove Drive, south of Sahara Avenue.

Fort Apache Road is closed in both directions from Lake North to Lake South. Mariner Cove is closed between Ocean Port Drive to Donnegal Bay Drive.

3:33 P.M.

Eastern Avenue has reopened after a deadly crash. READ MORE.

3 P.M.

A Clark County vehicle was involved in the crash that killed a woman near Eastern Avenue and Warm Springs Road. READ MORE.

1:30 P.M.

Las Vegas police are reporting a fatal crash at Eastern Avenue and Warm Springs Road.

Eastern is closed in both directions from Warm Springs Road to Eldorado Lane. READ MORE.

7 A.M.

A crash occurred between a school bus & a truck near Tropicana Avenue and Jones Boulevard. There were 5 students reportedly on the bus at the time of the crash. 

There were no reported injuries. 

6:45 A.M.

Chopper 13 was over the scene of a crash between a car and a bicycle near Torrey Pines and Oakey. The person riding the bike was placed in the ambulance at the scene.

6:20 A.M.

A school bus and two other vehicles were involved in a crash at Russell Road and Rainbow Boulevard. Reports say that there were no children on board of the bus at the time of the crash.

Multiple people have been transported to the hospital.
