5 P.M.

Police say three people were transported to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle near Maryland Parkway and Dumont Boulevard.

Officers say that a mother and her two children were walking in the crosswalk when the car hit them. The mother and her two children, one being reported as 2 years old, were sent flying an estimated 20-feet after impact.

The two-year-old child is listed in critical condition but stable, while the mother and the other child are both said to be in stable condition. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and officers are not investing the driver for impairment or speeding. FULL STORY

OVERNIGHT

A man was arrested after a woman says he was threatening to shoot her and himself. It happened around 11 p.m. Monday near Washington Avenue and Pecos Road. The woman locked herself in a bathroom and waited for police to arrive. Nearby homes were evacuated for several hours before the man could be taken into custody. No injuries reported.
