LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A man rammed into a business during a domestic dispute shortly before attacking a woman with a knife, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
It happened around 7:30 a.m. in the 4900 block of West Craig Road, just west of North Decatur Boulevard, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Police say that the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute between two people and at one point, the suspect drove his car into a business.
The suspect, now identified as 45-year-old Shawn Columbus Handley, then exited his car and began to attack the woman with a knife.
Another person nearby opened fire on the suspect, causing him to leave the area.
Handley was arrested and the shooter was detained. The victim is at a nearby hospital.
Handley faces charges of burglary of a business, assault with a deadly weapon,, battery with a deadly weapon, attempted murder with a deadly weapon, and destruction of property.
He is expected to appear in Justice Court at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The investigation is ongoing.
