LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — UPDATE
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) has identified a suspect in the death of 41-year-old Lucy Robledo, a woman found shot on an east Las Vegas sidewalk.
40-year-old Oscar Perez was "allegedly in custody at the Clark County Detention Center for unrelated charges," according to LVMPD.
He was rebooked on August 21 for the following:
- Open murder
- Conspiracy murder
- Buy, possess, or receive stolen property $25,000 to $100,000
- Own or posses gun by prohibited person
- Discharge gun within a structure or vehicle within a prohibited area
ORIGINAL STORY
Authorities are investigating after a woman was found dead in east Las Vegas.
She was found in the 1200 block of North Eastern Avenue, between Owens and Washington, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
According to police, dispatch received a report of a woman, now identified as 41-year-old Lucy Robledo, lying on the sidewalk around 3:14 a.m. on Thursday, July 9.
When officers arrived, they found the woman with unknown facial injuries, and medical personnel pronounced her dead at the scene.
Out of precaution, the LVMPD Homicide Section responded to the scene. With help from the coroner investigator and a close examination of the body, an apparent gunshot wound was located.
This is an ongoing investigation.
