LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A former Valley High School football coach could spend more than two decades in the custody of the Nevada Department of Corrections.
That comes after Antwone Washington appeared before Judge Monica Trujillo on Monday morning after he pleaded guilty to child sex crimes.

Washington, 46, and Jada Cole both pleaded guilty toward the end of 2025 to the use of a minor in producing child sexual abuse material, and lewdness with a child under the age of 16.
"Your actions are repulsive. You are a treacherous, vile creature who deserves to never walk free," said the mother of one of the victims.

Washington and Cole were both sentenced to a minimum of 8 years and a maximum of 25 years, with each getting credit for their time served under a plea agreement with state prosecutors.
Both will have to register as sex offenders upon release.
"I can't allow them in 8 years-- to blink of an eye, go through jail time and come on out like nothing, like nothing has happened," said the mother of one of the victims."
This woman said her daughter, whom she entrusted Cole to care for, was just 2 years old at the time of the crimes.
"She didn't just allow this man near my child. She sent inappropriate pictures of my daughter to him at the age of two," the woman said. "Acting together, supporting each other, and creating an environment where children were preyed upon."
She said she still carries the fear and trauma they caused her child and family every single day.
"The shame, the fear, the guilt. Even though, I have done nothing wrong, it sits on me heavy every day. I could not let my daughter out of my sight for months. I could not breathe, wondering if she was sick. I could not sleep without replaying every moment I trusted the wrong person," the mother said.
The mother of another victim said she's glad they won't get to hurt anyone else.
"You two are predators that prey on children. The universe has a very long memory. You both now have to reap what you sow," she said.
Cole was given 321 days' credit for time served, and Washington was credited 471 days.
