Two people were declared dead at the scene, and another was transported to UMC Trauma in stable condition, according to the North Las Vegas Police.
Police say the suspect fled the scene before police arrived and is still at large. According to police, the homicide appears to be an isolated incident.
"It hurts my heart, I mean, somebody's child didn't make it home. Somebody's baby didn't make it home, and that is crazy. I feel for them," said Shavon, who lives in the area.
She and other neighbors we spoke with said there was a party going on at the home when they say an argument broke out.
They tell me that moments later— gunshots echoed through the neighborhood.
"I heard screaming this morning, so I am sure someone came over this morning and found, you know, a loved one or a close person to them had passed away. It hurts," said Shavon.
Channel 13 was also able to obtain surveillance video of the moments after the shooting. In the video, you can see police lights and hear a woman in agony say,"I am so sorry."
Neighbors tell us this is not the first time police have been called out to the home.
"Every Saturday, for the past 3 weeks, as far as I have noticed, like there's a party over here and North Las Vegas police come over here and break it up."
We asked North Las Vegas police if they've responded to calls in this area before, but they said "any updates for this incident will be provided through a press release."
Meantime, neighbors said this shooting is the last straw for them, and they plan to take the matter to their HOA.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the North Las Vegas Police Department by phone at 702-633-9111. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers of Nevada by phone at 702-385-5555, or online at crimestoppersofnv.com
