LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — One person is dead after a shooting in east Las Vegas on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Police said they responded to the 5700 block of Pavot Court near Vegas Valley Drive around 4:45 p.m. and found one person dead.
The suspect is still at-large, according to LVMPD.
A homicide detective is expected to provide more information at an 8:45 p.m. press briefing, which you can watch live below:

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has confirmed that it happened in the 6300 block of W Charleston Boulevard, which is in the area of the College of Southern Nevada campus.

Detectives determined both shootings were related. According to police, the man had recently been in a relationship with one of the victims and was currently in a relationship with the other victim.
