AFTERNOON: Light rain lingers in Las Vegas through the early afternoon, but should diminish after 3 p.m. Highs won't get past the middle 50s due to the damp, mainly cloudy conditions.
EVENING: Chance of a stray shower is only 10%, but clouds linger and readings drop to the low 50s.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with readings near 50° and a 10% stray shower chance.
Saturday is mostly cloudy, and we'll keep an eye on the radar as rain chances climb from 10% in the morning to 30% in the late afternoon and evening. Temperatures near 50° early in the morning will reach the low 60s in the afternoon, then dip to the mid-and-upper 50s in the evening.
The Las Vegas Grand Prix F1 race may see a passing shower (30% chance) but otherwise looks cloudy with temperatures in the upper 50s at 8 p.m. and the mid 50s at 10 p.m.
Sunday through next week look mostly sunny and dry; highs will be in the mid 60s, which is a few degrees above-average, in the lead-up to Thanksgiving. Nighttime lows remain cold, in the upper 40s.
There are long-range computer model indications that colder weather develops by the end of November into early December, with highs as chilly as the mid 50s, and lows possibly down in the upper 30s.
