LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Authorities are asking drivers to avoid Las Vegas Boulevard at Frias.
Right now, the intersection is closed in all directions and police say it will stay that way for several hours.
Police say a pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was hit outside a marked crosswalk and died.
The driver took off before officers arrived.
Use an alternate route when traveling in the area.
