The following is a roundup of traffic alerts from around the Las Vegas valley.

5:15 A.M.

HAPPENING TONIGHT:

10 P.M.

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will close the northbound U.S. Highway 95 ramp to southbound Interstate 15 from 10 p.m., January 14, until 4 a.m., January 15, and again from 10 p.m., January 15, until 4 a.m., January 16, in downtown Las Vegas.

The temporary closure is needed for work on the 81-foot-high, 2,606-foot-long High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) flyover bridge as part of Project Neon – a nearly $1 billion 4-mile-long widening of Interstate 15 from the U.S. 95 interchange to Sahara Avenue that began in 2016. Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. is the design-build general contractor, with Atkins North America as lead designer. Project Neon is 92 percent finished and scheduled for substantial completion this summer.

Project Neon overnight closures and lane restrictions:

  • Ramp Closure: Spring Mountain on-ramp to I-15 southbound closed.
  • Lane restrictions on eastbound Oakey Blvd at I-15.
  • I-15 southbound reduced to two lanes, Sahara Ave to Flamingo Rd.
