Crash on I-215 Westbound at Windmill,
Freeway right shoulder and left lane blocked,
Expect delays
HAPPENING TONIGHT:
10 P.M.
The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will close the northbound U.S. Highway 95 ramp to southbound Interstate 15 from 10 p.m., January 14, until 4 a.m., January 15, and again from 10 p.m., January 15, until 4 a.m., January 16, in downtown Las Vegas.
The temporary closure is needed for work on the 81-foot-high, 2,606-foot-long High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) flyover bridge as part of Project Neon – a nearly $1 billion 4-mile-long widening of Interstate 15 from the U.S. 95 interchange to Sahara Avenue that began in 2016. Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. is the design-build general contractor, with Atkins North America as lead designer. Project Neon is 92 percent finished and scheduled for substantial completion this summer.
HEADS UP! @nevadadot will close the NB 95 ramp to SB 15 tonight from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. tomorrow. And again, from 10 p.m. tomorrow until 4 a.m. Wednesday. For a list of other @NDOTProjectNeon closures and lane restrictions happening today >>>https://t.co/NWjEgkXeGD pic.twitter.com/qhvZH42GdD
